Short course to meditation

Step1:

I really hate mystification and overcomplicating simple stuff. For example meditation has 3 simple components:

  • Stillness,
  • Focus,
  • Slow and deep breading.

Let’s do it in easy way. Think for a moment. Do you know any situation with two of three components of meditation? What you think about right now:

  • Stillness – you are probably now pretty still without much movement,
  • Focus – you are hopefully focused on what you read,

  • And now:

  • Breading – let’s change way you bread a little. Do slow bread out as much as you can, then slow bread in as much as you can. Repeat.

Hey presto, you meditate about post how easy is to meditate. :)

Step 2:

After a while you will routinely start to do meditations during reading and then just remove reading. Sit somewhere comfortably looking into some object, focus and breathe for some 10 minutes.

Step 3:

After you are comfortable with step 2, when meditate remove gently any thoughts that appear. Just don’t follow them, let them fade away.
Now you meditate like a pro.
